Liam is a Marriage and Family Therapy Associate and works with tweens, teens, adults, families, and couples.  Liam has a passion for working with individuals, couples, and families as they transition into new phases of life.  Whether it is a child transitioning into adolescence, a young adult struggling to figure out next steps, or a young couple trying to figure out married life, Liam creates a safe space for his clients to explore these new roles and help them navigate the growing pains with each new chapter.

Liam has a deep appreciation for the diversity of experiences and backgrounds that shape each individual. He has a passion for exploring family patterns and roles and helping clients to understand how these generational patterns can show up and influence their day to day lives and relationships.  Whether Liam works with an individual or an entire family system, he is committed to meeting each client where they are in life and supporting them in ways that bring healing and peace into their busy lives.

As a former Pine Cove counselor, Liam has a passion for working with youth and integrating faith and spirituality into mental health practices. Liam supports his younger clients as they navigate behavior challenges, relationships, family conflict, and all the common identity challenges of adolescence as they try to figure out how they fit into the world.  Liam often integrates parents into his work with youth to guide them through the challenges of raising healthy, well adjusted kids in today’s modern world.

Liam holds an undergraduate degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University’s Family Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Liam is working on his post-graduate licensure and practices under the supervision of Jill Gilbert. Liam is happily married to his wife, a native Houstonian, and they play an active role in their church community.  In his free time, Liam enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and anything that gets him moving in the outdoors.
